Much More in 2014

IMG_20402013 has been an amazing year for Amish Originals.  We started off the year by packing up and moving into our new location at 38 North State Street.  It was emotional saying goodbye to the old State Theater location, but our new, two-story renovated building is a beautiful complement to our furniture and home décor items. Becoming a “One-Shop Stop” gave us an open space better suited to showing customers how our furniture could look and feel in their homes.  Merging the locations and our staff has also allowed us to emphasize the customer service that we take such pride in.

Our Grand Opening gave us a wonderful opportunity to invite the 70+ Amish craftsmen and their families to come visit us in our new home.  Customers and our Amish artisans were found chatting about furniture design, construction and trends.

Warmer weather brought new crowds for the return of the Wednesday Farmers Market and Fourth Fridays in Uptown; Ladies-Night-Out-Logoin September we hosted the first annual Uptown Ladies Night—and by popular demand it will be back in 2014!

Throughout it all, we continue to be humbled by our customers and our extended family of friends.  Like the hand-written notes that we receive from folks like Gary, Gayle and Heather.Screen Shot 2013-12-29 at 8.54.43 AM photo  Like the commitment to buying locally produced goods by businesses like Wolf’s Ridge Brewing. Like the spectacular support of a first-year event from our wonderful Uptown neighborhood.

Like we said, it’s been a good year.  But, much like the re-claimed letters from the old State Theater read on our showroom wall, there will be much more to come in 2014!

Happy New Year from our home to yours,

Amish Originals
