Is your furniture really made by the Amish?

Yes, all of our furniture is handcrafted by Amish craftsmen in Northeast Ohio. We currently work with 70 different crafters that specialize in different pieces.

How long does it take to receive my furniture once an order has been placed?

If we do not have pieces in stock you may expect your furniture in 6-16 weeks from your order date.

Do you offer any financing?

Amish Originals offers 90 days same as cash through GE Financial.  This plan requires monthly minimum payments.  Applications are available our 8 and 38 State Street locations.

Do you ship?

Amish Originals can ship anywhere in the continental United States, as well as, internationally. We currently use a local shipping company but you can also use any other carrier of your choosing. Please contact us for a shipping quote. Please keep in mind that this is authentic Amish handcrafted furniture, shipping will be more expensive than our manufactured counterparts. Each piece is made to order and is not boxed or unassembled. Shipping requires special boxes, insurance, and extra care and packaging for larger items or items with glass. Please ask your carrier about their policies regarding damages in transit.

What is your product guarantee?

Amish Originals stands behind every piece of furniture that we sell. There is a 2 year warranty on all craftsmanship. We will repair or replace, at the craftsmans discretion, any item with a defect in material or craftsmanship. This warranty does not cover damage that arises from misuse or negligence.

Do you have a catalog?

Currently we do not have a catalog. Due to the constant changes in our products and styles it is not beneficial to the customer at this time.

Do you deliver?

Amish Originals offers a complete in-home setup and delivery service within 20 miles of our location in Uptown Westerville, Ohio for $49.00 (tax included). For those customers living outside 20 miles we charge $2.00 per mile after 20 miles. In some cases we are able to quote out-of-state deliveries. Our delivery staff is unable to remove old furniture or install audio or computer equipment.

How do I care for the furniture?

All finishes are alcohol and water-resistant. Please allow the finish to dry (cure) for 21 days prior to heavy usage. Avoid hot coffee and long exposure to water during this time. Once your finish is cured it will stand the test of time. Simply wipe with a damp cloth after each use for every day care. Beyond this, we recommend Guardsman furniture polish for cleaning. A quality lemon oil will also prevent drying of the finish and can be applied annually. Avoid use of silicone polishes.
